Dr Carmen Hobeika, Dentist

Dr Carmen HobeikaGrowing up, Dr Carmen always enjoyed the human sciences. After she was admitted to medical school, Dr Carmen realised that she wanted a career that would allow her to work with her hands. Dentistry offered the perfect combination.

As a bit of a “detail freak,” Dr Carmen has always thought of dentistry as a way to incorporate her attention to detail with her love of building new relationships.

Dr Carmen Hobeika completed her studies in 1996 and worked in various private practices overseas and throughout Perth before taking over the East Fremantle Dental Centre in 2007. Carmen has attended numerous dental courses and is committed to ongoing professional development. This allows her to always be at the forefront of dentistry and to offer her patients the best care possible.

Dr Carmen’s proximity to our heritage building was the determining factor for purchasing our office in 2007. Having already raised her family in the neighbourhood, she was quite familiar with many of the residents. Dr Carmen knew what it would feel like to practice in her home community.

The Most Fulfilling Thing About Being a Dentist

Dr Carmen takes great pride and effort in providing exceptional dental care for all her patients. Beautiful dentistry with a gentle touch. She loves to be challenged by complex dental case. Dr Carmen enjoys all aspects of dentistry, however she has a soft spot for cosmetic dentistry. As an independent practitioner, she is able to have more say in the services that she offers. She and her tightly knit team all get along quite well, which makes it a joy to go to work each day!

Her biggest mission is to provide comprehensive dentistry that incorporates her patients’ overall health into their oral care. From considering medical conditions to addressing specific habits, Dr Carmen believes that preventative dentistry is paramount. She has a gentle and friendly approach to dentistry and aims at increasing patient’s understanding about oral health and developing positive oral hygiene habits. She views it as the best way to ensure the healthiest smile possible.
